For over ten years Neo Tokyo has been at the forefront of leading edge fashion.
In recent times the World Society for the Protection of Animals (WSPA) has made us aware of the plight of animals across the world.

We now do our best to help put an end to cruelty to animals wherever it occurs. We focus 100% on fashion with a conscience - working towards an end to unspeakable cruelty to animals.

We support WSPA's campaigns on behalf of whales, orangutans and bears. At Neo Tokyo we give consumers the opportunity to buy quality clothing, accessories and recycled stationery which also conveys our animal friends' plea for help!

This year Neo Tokyo begins the annual Worlds Biggest Dog Wash in support of Lort Smith Animal Hospital. Apart from well-washed pooches, the event raises awareness of Lort Smith's great work with local animals.

The Lort Smith Animal Hospital was established in 1935 by Mrs Louisa Lort Smith and is part of the Animal Welfare league of Australia. It is the largest animal hospital in the Southern Hemisphere; they receive no government funding and rely on the generosity of their supporters. Lort Smith provides veterinary care for any animal in need, regardless of the owner's ability to pay, they save and rehome hundreds of thousands of animals each year. LSAH have treated over 5 million animals since inception and saved and rehomed over 200,000.

The Hospital employs over 150 staff and 500+ volunteers, and its 11 wards include an exotic and native animal unit.

Lort Smith Animal Hospital believes the strength of the human/animal bond means care for the animal must include concern for the person. Because of this its Community Programs include:

	Animals and Domestic Violence Program – collecting, protecting and caring for the pets of victims of domestic violence until they can be reunited.
	Providing free emergency accommodation and veterinary care to the pets of people who are homeless.
	Working alongside the Royal District Nursing Service, providing veterinary care to pets of frail and elderly people.
	Providing emergency pet foster carers to people who cannot care for their pet while they are in hospitals, refuges, de-tox centres, respite care, etc.
	PALS (Pets Are Loving Support) – providing, assessing and training 350 volunteers and their dogs in a pet therapy program which visits children and adults in hospitals and nursing homes.
	A dog walking program for people with mental illness.
